Private Merzouga desert tour 3 days

During these 3-days Merzouga desert excursion, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech. for an adventure through the magnificent Atlas Mountains and the Tichka Pass (2260 m), offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas range. We will stop at the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the most spectacular fortresses in the south of Morocco and a site declared by UNESCO World Heritage.

Day 1: Marrakech, Tizi - N - Tichka, Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, Les Gorges Dades Tinghir NIGHT:

Departure from your riad or hotel on the early morning to the High Atlas, crossing the spectacular Tizi n ’Tichka Pass to reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Addou. Visit the Kasbah. Lunch on site. Continuation of the excursion to the Merzouga desert via the Ouarzazate road. Visit of the Kasbah Taourirte. Road to Skoura and the Thousand Kasbahs, Crossing the Valley of the Roses before joining the Dades Valley and the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou then continuing to the Dades Gorges, Night in Tinghir in a beautiful riad with half board.

Day 2: Tenghir - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga:

Departure after breakfast, you will start your tour to visit the Todgha gorges and the palm grove of Tineghir, after we continue our journey to the great desert via Erfoud (the capital of fossils) Possibility to visit the fossil production workshop. After continuing our adventure trip to the impressive dunes of (Erg Chebbi) Merzouga, for a nice ride on a camel to cross the dunes to admire the sunset in the middle of the dunes.

See the sand dunes and the desert landscape from a timeless perspective as you listen to the drums of the desert camp in the middle of the Sahara

You will spend the night in nomad tents with half board and you will enjoy the silence in full stars. Dinner and live the atmosphere of Berber music around the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Marrakech:

After the sumptuous sunrise, take part in a typical breakfast and return to the back of a camel towards Merzouga. Continuation of the road to Marrakech and crossing of the Berber villages of the Haut –Atlas. Arrive in the evening in Marrakech ... and that's the end of your excursion.

Admire the beautiful landscapes of the Sahara, oases, palm groves, and green valleys ... Take the road back to Marrakech.
