It was designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle as you will see the gardens have been restored by Yves Saint Laurent and you will find a logo of this phenomenal french character, these botanical gardens are now a haven of peace and tranquility in the city of Marrakech.

This magnificent tropical garden is surrounded by fountains, pools, bamboo forests, cacti, orchards, olive groves, and a fabulous collection in private museums. Over 15 exclusive species of birds in North Africa can be found here. Continue the tour with a visit to the garden and the historical cistern of Menara, a famous summer residence of Sultan Abderrahmane.
